Learn with fun, from the very first day
The buds of today require smooth care, nurturing with love and compassion. Texas Montessori School aims to flourish each pupil in a congenial academic atmosphere, with child-friendly teaching strategies delivered by highly experienced, trained and dynamic teachers.
Developing positivity, love, affection, a sense of co-operation and decent habits among young minds is our prime concern. Children choose their work, learn by doing, and move at their own pace in mixed-age groups.
Caring, loving environment
Small groups, familiar faces and a calm routine. Every child is known by name, and every day starts with a welcome.
Trained Montessori teachers
A team of 21 Montessori teachers and assistants, trained in child-friendly methods and supported by the school's academic coordinators.
Parents as partners
Parent-teacher interactive programmes, talent shows and festival celebrations keep families part of the learning.

Five areas of a Montessori classroom, in plain words
Parents often ask for reading and maths only. Practical life and sensorial work are what make reading and maths stick.
Practical life
Pouring, buttoning, sweeping, carrying a tray. Independence, concentration and care for the room.
Sensorial
Colour tablets, sound cylinders, shapes and textures. Children learn to notice and compare before they name.
Language
Sandpaper letters, moveable alphabet, phonics in English and Nepali, stories every day.
Mathematics
Number rods, beads and cards make quantity concrete before symbols appear.
Culture and creativity
Maps and flags, plants and animals, festivals of Nepal, music, dance and art.
